BASEC Names Executive Director, Adds to Staff
(Doland, SD) – BASEC (Beadle and Spink Enterprise Community) recently announced changes within their office, including naming a new Executive Director and adding to their staff with an Executive Assistant position.Previously the Finance Manager at BASEC, Amy Hofer was named BASEC’s Executive Director by BASEC’s Board of Directors, a position she had been temporarily filling since March, 2019. As the Finance Manager, Hofer has been serving BASEC communities since 2013.“I am excited and proud to continue to serve the people in our service area,” Hofer said. “It truly is an honor to be a part of helping my neighbors achieve their dreams through the remarkable programs we offer at BASEC.”Hofer earned her B.S. in Consumer Affairs with an emphasis in Resource Management and minors in business and marketing from South Dakota State University. In addition, she is a certified Economic Development Professional. She resides on a farm near Doland, SD, with her husband, Nik, and their three children. In addition to naming a new Executive Director, BASEC has hired Samantha Noethlich as Executive Assistant.Originally from the Sooner State, Noethlich attended Connors State College in Warner, OK, from 2008-2010, and Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX, from 2010-2012. She resides in Raymond with her husband, Bill, and their three children.“I am excited to be a part of an entity that pours themselves into the places that we live,” Noethlich said. “I want to make our communities the best places they can possibly be.”Although both Hofer and Noethlich have been serving BASEC communities for some time, they wanted to make sure everyone in the communities they serve understand there are people here in the office to help them.“We want to help you grow your business, your home, your farm, your community,” Hofer said. “Reach out to me and know that Samantha is here to help.
